Naomi Tor is a Tucson native and an alumnus of the University of Arizona, where she received her B.A. in French and Italian Language and Literature. She grew up studying Hebrew and has traveled extensively throughout Israel, where she lived while enrolled in a Peace and Social Justice internship with the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS). 

Naomi received her Master of Arts in Hebrew Pedagogy from Middlebury University in Middlebury, Vermont. 

Prior to teaching Elementary Modern Hebrew at the University of Arizona, Naomi was the Director of Education for Congregation Chaverim, a local synagogue, where she also had the opportunity to teach Hebrew and Judaic studies. Naomi finds sharing her love of languages with her students and their enthusiasm for language learning truly rewarding.
