Karen Borek is an adjunct instructor for both Religious Studies and Judaic Studies. Since earning the PhD in Religion at Emory University, she has taught courses on Jesus in Contemporary Thought, Feminist Approaches to the Bible, and the Problem of God and Evil at the University of Arizona and Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Her research interests focus on a tragic construal of the divine role in the origin and redemption of creation. She will teach a course on God and the Problem of Evil in Spring 2012.
