Modern Hebrew is the core of the Judaic Studies major, but many students enroll in the program to fulfill the UA's foreign language requirement.
Program Overview
We offer elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels of Modern Hebrew.
You may be eligible to place into a higher level Hebrew course if you have previous experience with the language. Contact Jackie Schmidt, Program Coordinator (jan1@arizona.edu), to be placed in the appropriate level of Hebrew.
