Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center Presents The Lakin Lecture Series on Antisemitism

Local Leaders Discuss Antisemitism in Southern Arizona

A diverse panel of local and regional leaders and experts will help participants understand antisemitism at home and what organizational, legislative, and individual efforts are being made to fight back.

Lynn Davis, Jewish Community Relations Council Director will moderate the panel made up of the following:

-Paul Patterson, Security Director with Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona
-Chelsea Gutierrez, Security Director with Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona
-The Honorable Alma Hernandez- House of Representatives District 20
-Rabbi Stephanie Aaron- Congregation Chaverim
-Dr. David Graizbord, Director of Arizona Center for Judaic Studies

This event which will take place in-person in the Ballroom of the Tucson Jewish Community Center, is free but pre-registration is required. A live stream will also be available for viewing.

The Alma and Ed Lakin Education Fund was established at the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona by their daughter in order to honor Alma and Eddie’s lifelong commitment to Holocaust Education, the people of Israel, to Jewish Life, and to the combatting of antisemitism and advocacy for social justice.
