The Bert and Peggy Falbaum Fellow in Judaic Studies

The Bert and Peggy Falbaum Fellow in Judaic Studies is awarded to an outstanding undergraduate student.

The Falbaum Fellow in Judaic Studies advances the scholarly achievements and cultural interests of Judaic Studies both on campus and in the broader community.

In keeping with Bert Falbaum’s commitment to service and education, this fellowship grants students the opportunity to increase awareness of Judaic Studies and the promotion of scholarly work therein.

This is an annual award.

About Bert and Peggy

Bert Falbaum had a tremendous impact on the lives of many, many people. 

He was one of those truly special people who had an infectious smile and an indefatigable positive outlook on life. 

We in the Center are thrilled to be able to offer the Bert S. Falbaum Judaic Studies Student Fellowship in his honor. 

Bert's impact on the lives of the people he touched will be remembered for generations. And with this fellowship in his honor, he will continue to touch new lives every day. 

His memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew him and to all whose lives he touched.
