The Sally & Ralph Duchin Campus Lecture Series
The Sally & Ralph Duchin Campus Lecture Series provides the opportunity for the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies to work in partnership with other UA departments to bring scholars, authors and performers to The University of Arizona campus to give lectures and presentations in their various fields of expertise. Topics range from Modern Klezmer music, Yiddish theater to discussions on ancient, biblical texts. These presentations are usually in the late afternoons and occur during the academic semesters. 2013-2014 Series

The Rabbi Marcus Breger Memorial Lecture
The Rabbi Marcus Breger Memorial Lecture is an annual lecture that honors the late Rabbi Breger, who served the Jewish community on the Island of Rhodes as Rabbi and Av Bet-Din. He was also the Professor of Talmud at the Island’s renowned Rabbinical seminary, The Collegio Rabbinico, which served Jewish communities in the Balkans, Ereẓ Israel, Egypt, and Ethiopia from 1928-1938. Despite its relatively short history, this seminary became one of the premiere rabbinical seminaries serving Sephardic communities across the region. 2014 Steven Weitzman

The Raphael Patai Memorial Lectureship Series
The Raphael Patai Memorial Lectureship Series is a bi-annual endowed lecture honoring the late Rabbi Raphael Patai. Raphael Patai, a prominent cultural anthropologist, historian, and Jewish Studies scholar, wrote over three-dozen books in his lifetime. The Raphael Patai Lecture is made possible by the generosity of his daughters, Jennifer Schneider and Daphne Patai. 2014

The Albert T. Bilgray Memorial Lecture
The Albert T. Bilgray Memorial Lecture is an annual lecture created in 1985 to honor Albert T. Bilgray, Rabbi Emeritus and Professor Emeritus at the University of Arizona and is cosponsored by Temple Emanu-El. In the course of more than a quarter century, Rabbi Bilgray created and helped develop three programs at the University: Hebrew Language and Literature; Religious Studies; and Judaic Studies. This Lectureship seeks to perpetuate two primary emphases of Bilgray's career through both a popular as well as an academic presentation on Jewish life and literature.

The Yiddish Festival was a series of films and lectures coordinated by visiting scholar, Professor Gil Ribak. Professor Ribak was able to organize this series in the spring of 2012 and 2013.
