Ambassador Rabinovich’s lecture will explore the key issues that face Israel at this critical juncture in the modern history of the Middle East. How is the Arab Spring and its aftermath changing the dynamics of Israel’s relationship to the Arab world?  Most importantly, how do these developments influence the Israeli-Paestinian peace process?

Ambassador Itamar Rabinovich is the former president of Tel-Aviv University. Currently he is Professor Emeritus of Middle Eastern History of Tel Aviv University and is currently Distinguished Global Professor at NYU, and a Distinguished Fellow at the Brookings Institution. He is also a senior research fellow at the Dayan Center for Middle-Eastern Studies, and co-editor of the Center’s new review journal, Bustan.
