Determining placement in Hebrew

Hebrew placement should not be confused with Hebrew Credit by Exam.

The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies does not offer written placement exams for Modern Hebrew. In order to determine which level of Hebrew is appropriate for you contact Anat Maimon, Coordinator of the Hebrew Department at (520) 626-5786.

Students will not be allowed to register for JUS 103b, 203a, 203b or 303 without having taken the appropriate prerequisites, or successfully passing the Hebrew Credit by Exam test(s),  or without permission from a Hebrew instructor.
