The Jewish Family & Children’s Service, Virtual Center for Senior Enrichment welcomes you to attend a talk titled When a Kugl Lies on Your Face: The Irony and Wit of Yiddish Idioms with Prof. Gil Ribak, Associate Professor with The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies. The focus is on Yiddish idioms and folklore as expressions of Ashkenazi Jewry’s historical experience and of Judaism as a lived tradition.
