Two election cycles that have failed to produce a government with a third in the offing have observers scratching their heads about what is going on in Israeli politics. Palestinian citizens of Israel, ultra religious Jews, and the death throes of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process are all playing significant roles in Israel's new politics. Dr. Ariel Ilan Roth, Executive Director of the Israel Institute in Washington DC will present and analyze the results of the recent Israeli elections and offer insights into the current political stalemate in Israel and how the logjam may be broken.
The talk will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 4-5:30pm in ENR2 Room S107, the Agnese Nelms Haury Lecture Hall. It free and open to the public.
This talk is being sponsored by the School of Government and Public Policy and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
