The “Israel” Debate - Between Myth and Reality
Israel is often the subject of much-heated debates, but to what extent do the participants in these debates, who come from all strands of the political spectrum, succeed in discussing the realities of Israel?
In this annual Jeffrey B. Plevan Lecture, Dr. Anat Balint, the Jeffrey B. Plevan Chair in Modern Israel Studies at the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies, will look into the “Israel” Debate. A Media scholar and Israeli native, Balint will dismantle some of the myths that surround this ongoing and often heated conversation.
