Advanced instruction in Biblical and/or Rabbinic Hebrew language and literature. This course offers undergraduates and graduate students a semester of advanced biblical Hebrew, the Hebrew of the Tanakh or Old Testament. Throughout the semester, students will read the book of Genesis, becoming immersed in a single biblical text while increasing their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
