Students will be encouraged to attend events on campus, visit art centers and religious institutions near campus.
Guest speakers and creative hands on projects will be an integral part of the curriculum.
Come explore the process of art making and its relation to beliefs and spiritual practices. Focus is on life cycles, community and the inter connectedness of visual art and religious practices.
Emphasis will be on artistic practices within Judaism, but will include selected works from Christianity, Islam, Navajo, Buddhist and Hindu traditions.
There are no prerequisites for this class.
