The Bert and Peggy Falbaum Fellow in Judaic Studies

The Bert and Peggy Falbaum Fellow in Judaic Studies is awarded to an outstanding undergraduate at the University of Arizona, the Falbaum Fellow in Judaic Studies will facilitate and advance the scholarly achievements and cultural interests of Judaic Studies both in the campus environment and in the broader community.  In keeping with Bert Falbaum’s commitment to service and education, this fellowship will grant the opportunity to a worthy student to assist in increasing awareness of the field of Judaic Studies and the promotion of scholarly work therein.  This is an annual award.

About Bert and Peggy:

Bert Falbaum had a tremendous impact on the lives of many, many people. He was one of those truly special people who had an infectious smile and an indefatigably positive outlook on life. We in the Center are thrilled to be able to offer the Bert S. Falbaum Judaic Studies Student Fellowship in his honor. Bert's impact on the lives of the people he touched will be remembered for generations. And with this fellowship in his honor, he will continue to touch new lives every day. His memory will forever be a blessing to all who knew him and to all whose lives he touched.
